When Acknowledging Employees Contributions is Just as Important as our Client's Satisfaction

When we are in the thick of projects, everyday deadlines and hitting monthly targets, it's easy to forget to tangibly acknowledge our team members contributions with more than just a verbal thank you and adulations - "You rock!", "Great Job Today.", "You really knocked it out of the park.", can only go so far.

It's important to provide the same care we take when thanking our clients as it is our own employees. Sometimes, going the extra mile with an actual gift is what's needed to thoughtfully acknowledge your team's contributions; that added touch of detail can help increase employee morale, their quality of work life, the association they have with the workplace/workspace and boost their confidence.

Here are some holidays that employers can incorporate into their administrative calendars as reason to celebrate their employees, say thank you, and acknowledge team contributions throughout the year:

New Year's

International Women's Day - March 8

International Day of Happiness - March 20

World Health Day - April 7

Earth Day

Administrative Professionals Day - April 24

International Friendship Day - July 30

National Boss Day - October 16

National Thank You Day - December 26
